DRUM, SING, PLAY, CREATE!
THE ROAD TO MUSICAL LEARNING AND CREATING IN THE CLASSROOM

On February 2nd 2007, the QMEA heald a Music Education Panel Discussion Workshop at FACE high school. Our expert panelists (Tim Brady, Betty-Jo Christiani, Shawn Mativetsky, and Erica Phare) provided participants with practical information and fresh insight into four different areas of music teaching and learning through: speech/singing, movement/games, playing percussion instruments, and composing/creating. They shared new and exciting repertoire of songs, rhythms, games, dances, musical stories, and instrumental activities, through speech, percussion, and movement. A good time was had by all – especially during the chatered dinner!
